Social Scanner – February 20, 2015

Check out this week’s best from Star Wars fans on social media!

As a member of the (very small) social media team here at Lucasfilm, I have the honor of reading, responding to, laughing at, loving, and sharing all of your Star Wars conversations every day. Our fans are creative, passionate, funny, and very active across the Internet; every Friday, I’ll share my favorite social media posts from the week in the Social Scanner, so show me what you’ve got!

I hope everyone in the Midwest and Northeast made it to all their markers safely this week!

The Hearts in San Francisco project is an ongoing event featuring heart installations scattered around the city, which are later auctioned to benefit the SF General Hospital. This year Lawrence Noble created a heart featuring his Yoda fountain that sits outside the Lucasfilm offices! This was shared on Reddit this week, but will be on display all year.

I like this train of thought. My Force skills need some work, but this, I can handle.

As someone who has no skill (or patience) for stop-motion, these always make me smile. Get him, Paploo!!

It’s always amusing to see people in stuffy suits on the train to work every day… and I’m in a Star Wars T-shirt. I feel like this guy gets it.
