As a member of the (very small) social media team here at Lucasfilm, I have the honor of reading, responding to, laughing at, loving, and sharing all of your Star Wars conversations every day. Our fans are creative, passionate, funny, and very active across the Internet; every Friday, I’ll share my favorite social media posts from the week in the Social Scanner, so show me what you’ve got!
It’s a busy time in the galaxy. Star Wars Celebration is less than two weeks away, and that alone brings a ton of awesome new developments to the galaxy (THE FORCE AWAKENS! BATTLEFRONT!), we’re getting closer to Star Wars Weekends, there’s new books in the works… Actually, let’s check in with Chuck Wendig to see how Aftermath is progressing, shall we?

Okay, that clearly doesn't work.

Kanan: The Last Padawan came out this week to rave reviews. I love seeing the comic book love! If you haven’t gotten into these new series from Marvel, I highly suggest a trip to your local shop. They’re totally wizard.
Only on the first page of Kanan #1 and I'm already loving the artwork. #StarWars

Oh, look! Awesome fan-made stop motion! My favorite.
I haven’t made it down to LEGOLAND California yet, but if this is any indicator of what I’m missing, a trip will definitely have to happen soon!
Prediction: I will be that harmonica kid in approximately 2 weeks.
Then the con was over, & I was alone in a littered food court with a teen slouched over his harmonica mournfully playing the Star Wars theme

Star Wars + younglings = good times. It’s science.
My 4 year old just told me he didn't want his Lego mini figures to see him because there's no giant human in Star Wars.
