If you were a kid in the '90s, you might remember playing with this unusual disc game called Pogs. Even though the game originated in Hawaii in the late '20s, it didn't become a gaming craze until the '90s.
When playing the game, each person has to submit an equal number of Pogs to stack either for keeps or not. During the game you could either win or lose your Pogs, which in turn made many schools ban the game because they considered it to be a form of gambling. Ironically, this made the game even more desirable.
The Pogs themselves often depicted characters from toy lines, movies, video games, cartoons, bands and sports teams -- making them highly collectible for fans.
Topps created and released the Star Wars series of Pogs in 1995. If you want to relive your childhood or start rebuilding your own Pog collection you see a complete list of Pogs at the Star Wars Collectors Archive.
