STAR WARS #1 SELLS OUT
Star Wars #1, the first issue in Dark Horse Comics’ new ongoing series set directly after the events of A New Hope, was released on Wednesday to rave reviews. The issue has sold out at retail, with a second printing scheduled for February 6. Be sure to check out Brian Wood’s special blog post, “The Star Wars I Know,” in which the acclaimed writer discusses what Star Wars means to him and what his goals are for the new series.
NEW CELEBRATION EUROPE II DETAILS
The biggest Star Wars fan gathering ever held in Europe is coming, and new details have been revealed! Dave Filoni, supervising director of The Clone Wars has been confirmed as the first official guest, and ticket information is now available at www.starwarscelebration.eu.
STAR WARS WEEKENDS 2013 DATES ANNOUNCED
Star Wars Weekends are returning to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, taking place every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from May 17-June 9! James Arnold Taylor and Ashley Eckstein are confirmed as celebrity hosts. Stay tuned to StarWars.com for more news on the annual event.
THE CLONE WARS SEASON FIVE, EPISODE 13 PREVIEW
The Clone Wars Season Five continues tomorrow morning at 9:30 a.m. on Cartoon Network with “Point of No Return,” the last episode in the saga of D-Squad. Check out StarWars.com’s preview of “Point of No Return,” in which R2-D2 and D-Squad encounter (more than) a few buzz droids…
