Star Wars film already underway, long-time
Star Wars fan and starwars.com reporter Pablo Hidalgo has been embedded with the production team at Fox Studios Australia since May bringing starwars.com Hyperspace members online chats with
Star Wars celebrities, making sure the Episode III webcam is pointed at something cool, meeting the cast and crew, observing every aspect of the movie's production and writing about it all every day in his daily Episode III Set Diary.
Pretty good job, right?
Well this summer, Lucas Online is going to give one lucky Hyperspace member Pablo's job for a day through the exclusive "Jump to Hyperspace, Jump to Sydney" contest. The winner will jet off to the set of Episode III in Sydney, Australia for a week's stay, get $500 spending money, receive a tour of the set and write an installment of the popular Hyperspace Episode III Set Diary!
To enter, you must first be a starwars.com Hyperspace member, enjoying its exclusive Episode III and classic trilogy content, enhanced features and personalization. Click here to join!
Once you're registered, you'll need to show us you have what it takes to represent all of Star Wars fandom. Write us the first paragraph of an imaginary Episode III Set Diary entry and submit it with this online form. The teaser must be 100 words or less. Entries will be judged on originality, relevance to the theme and quality of the writing. All entries must be received by August 10, 2003.
Of course, there are official contest rules you need to read before entering.
This is your last chance to visit the set of a Star Wars movie. Don't let it pass you by. Maybe we'll see you there!
