An interactive tale with fourteen animated pages, Jar Jar's Journey is a CD-ROM designed to immerse children ages 4 and up in the exciting story of Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace. In this adventure book, children will read along with Jar Jar, Queen Amidala, Anakin Skywalker, and Qui-Gon Jinn as they follow Jar Jar on his exciting adventure from the Naboo swamp to Tatooine.

Imagine the fun of meeting the Jedi in the forests of Otoh Gunga and cheering young Anakin at the Podraces. Humorous (and sometimes surprising) animations create a rich and inviting game environment. Six age-appropriate activities engage players as they escape the core by navigating a Gungan bongo ship through twisting mazes, fix the hyperdrive on Queen Amidala's ship, and solve riddles as they serve food to hungry diners in the Mos Espa marketplace.

In Jar Jar's Journey, early readers will enjoy the choice of hearing the story read to them or reading along with the support of highlighted text. Each adventure book page identifies key words and encourages players to develop new vocabulary through singing definitions and clickable synonyms. Games promote problem solving, memory development, and listening skills and are leveled to provide challenge and a sense of progress.

Traditionally animated in 2D with fully-painted backgrounds, Jar Jar's Journey features many Episode I characters, including Jar Jar Binks, Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Queen Amidala (and Padmé), Anakin Skywalker and Shmi, and even R2-D2 and Watto. Players may color their favorite scenes from Jar Jar's Journey and then print their creations in color or in black and white for off-screen coloring.

Jar Jar's Journey has been released on a hybrid Windows/Mac CD-ROM and is available in software stores everywhere.
