Wizards of the Coast has just released an updated Banned/Restricted List for the
Star Wars Trading Card Game which includes the banning of Holoprojection Chamber and
Kessel System Location cards while restricting the usage of the
Falcon's Needs, Lull in the Fighting, Peace on
Naboo is and Lost in the Asteroids Battle Cards. Players may not use banned cards in a DCI-sanctioned constructed tournament and can use only one copy of a restricted card in a DCI-sanctioned constructed tournament.
According to the Star Wars R&D team at Wizards of the Coast, the Holoprojection Chamber is banned because it makes the "Mission" deck too easy. It is the center of the Mission-fueled engines that lead to large first turn build disparities. Similar to Holoprojection Chamber, the Location Kessel System card can easily lead to a huge first turn build disparity that is unhealthy for the game.
Falcon's Needs while powerful in and of itself, becomes degenerate when the 2nd (or 3rd, or 4th) copy is played, hence it's placement on the restricted list. The three undercosted Battle Cards of Lull in the Fighting, Peace on Naboo, Lost in the Asteroids allow any player to stall the game for an unacceptable length of time. There are other fairly costed cards that have the same effect, with more coming in the future.
Wizards also released a R&D Watch List of cards that the team will be closely monitoring:
