Wizards of the Coast, publishers of the upcoming
Star Wars Roleplaying Game, recently announced their upcoming list of new products for the first quarter of 2001. Here's a look at what experienced and novice players alike can expect from the new game:
The Star Wars Gamemaster Screen: This eight-paneled shield protects a gamemaster's notes, maps and plans from the eyes of curious players. It's also packed with useful charts and tables from the
Star Wars Roleplaying Game core rulebook. The screen, which sports the same stunning cover art by Drew Struzan as the core rulebook, is due out in February, 2001.
The Rebellion Era Sourcebook: It is a period of civil war... and it's chronicled in amazing detail in this hardcover sourcebook. Key information about the Empire and the Rebel Alliance from the classic Star Wars era can be found in this book, as well as ship and weapon stats, and profiles on main characters such as Luke, Han and Leia. The 160-page sourcebook is due out in March, 2001.
The Living Force Campaign Pack: Avid gamers from around the world create characters that grow and adventure from game convention to game convention via the RPGA -- the Role Playing Game Association. The action starts here, with this comprehensive campaign setting that details a star system, characters, organizations, and more. This supplement can be used as a helpful resource for an independent Star Wars roleplaying campaign, or can be your springboard to adventure in an official RPGA campaign. The 64-page supplement is scheduled for publication in March, 2001.
The Secrets of Tatooine: For such a distant backwater world, Tatooine has figured prominently in the Star Wars saga. Now, its secrets are revealed in this detailed guide to the desert planet. This book explores the sandy wastes in all three Star Wars eras: Prequel, Classic, and The New Jedi Order, and reveals information never before printed anywhere else. The 96-page supplement is due out in April, 2001.
