Many believed the story of the Secret Apprentice ended once the final button had been pressed in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. But there is more of his life yet to reveal. Starkiller dealt with terrible pain and conflicts. His parents, two Jedi who were hiding out among the Wookiees, were ruthlessly murdered by Darth Vader. In a moment of compassion (or calculated planning) Vader took the young boy under his wing and trained him in the ways of the dark side.
It's at this point that the new single-player level for The Force Unleashed takes place. Available on the Xbox Live Marketplace, the new Mission Pack allows players to take control of the Secret Apprentice as he travels to the Jedi Temple to learn more about his father. (Update: The PlayStation Network download is scheduled for release this Thursday, December 11th.)
While searching through the rubble of the destroyed building Starkiller must confront his inner demons. Leaping headlong into battle, dozens of enemies wait to greet him as he touches down on the landing pad. As he makes his way into the temple he'll be not only be confronted by many troops, puzzles, and hazards, but also a final test that all Jedi must take.
