Whoa: Having barely survived an early encounter with the Soul Edge, Raphael's wounds released a plague which would eventually consume a nearby city.
Objectives: Raphael at first wanted to keep the Soul Edge from falling into the hands of easily corrupted war-mongering nobles. Then he sought out Holy Stones that have the ability to counter Soul Edge's powers. Now, he seeks Soul Calibur, to use its power to recreate the world in his image.
Weapons: A rapier named Flambert.
Tips and Tricks: Raphael's attack strategy revolves around his Preparation stance, which enables him to initiate back-to-back attacks at high speed. However, the stance's options and the attacks that shift into it have a single glaring flaw: almost all are linear.
