Whoa: His critical finishing move involves hitting you with nunchucks, punching you and kicking you while shouting "Rising Dragon of the Zodiac", all the while covered by flaming energy. And yet his nickname is the "Dandy of the South Seas." You can see just how tough the Soulcalibur universe is.
Objectives: His pirate crew, which were like family to him, were slain by Astaroth.
Weapons: Soryuju, his hand-crafted nunchaku. Their name means "the dragons, reborn, will gather," and serve as a reminder of his oath of vengeance. He wants payback.
Tips and Tricks: Maxi is best at pointblank range, so you have to establish this proximity by knocking down your enemy or moving in when there's a gap in your opponent's offense.
Star Wars Grudge Match We'd Like to See: As a slick pirate captain, Han Solo seems like a good choice to fight Maxi, but it's hard to imagine how compelling a blaster vs. nunchucks fight would be. Also, there's just something about those sideburns and that white jumpsuit that makes us want to see Maki square off against Elvistrooper and his karate.
