This month, the latest expansion to the popular
Star Wars Miniatures line from
Wizards of the Coast arrives on store shelves.
Jedi Academy is a series that draws upon the lore of the entire
Star Wars saga, across multiple eras, presenting a variety of Force-users and their sworn enemies. The set consists of 40 pre-painted plastic miniatures suitable for tabletop skirmish play, roleplaying accessories, or simply collecting and displaying. These are due out on June 30, 2009 and will be available in randomly packaged booster packs of seven minis each.
Here's a sampling of characters to expect: a pair of dangerous thugs from the Expanded Universe who have sworn to battle the Jedi Knights.
