Description
The creaky-limbed Kindalo are a species that dwell in the underground caverns deep beneath the surface of Aleen. Knowing that the surface world is toxic to those who live below, the tree-like Kindalo carefully guard passage to the underworld. They dwell in a cavern grove illuminated by their own bio-luminescence and the glows of similarly phosphorescent plants that surround them.

Aleen
The planet Aleen conceals many secrets. It is really two worlds -- a surface ruled by the tiny Aleena, and a strange subterranean realm inhabited by bizarre aliens. The Kindalo are but one of the cultures of the interior world.
Orphne
The Kindalo are neighbors to Orphne. They know of her wisdom, but also of her trickster nature. They block access to her lair with their imposing forms.
C-3PO
C-3PO was part of a Republic relief effort to Aleen during the Clone Wars after the planet was devastated by a series of groundquakes. The protocol droid ventured in the Aleen underworld, and met the Kindalo.
