April 22, 2002

[ Frito Lay Presents: Find the Hero Inside ]Frito Lay joins the Episode II experience with their "Find the Hero Inside" Star Wars promotion. Young fans can collect colorful 3-D Star Pic premiums in specially marked packages of Frito Lay products.

Star Pics are molded plastic pieces that come alive in 3-D when held up to the light. The full set includes nine Episode II characters available in the four colors of the lightsaber: red, blue, green and purple. By collecting and connecting all the Star Pics, kids can discover four secret images hidden in the collection. For the avid collectible hunter, there's an ultra-rare 10th Star Pic -- a yellow clone trooper.

Each 3-D Star Pic comes packaged with a hero manual telling the Star Wars saga in five successive volumes. The Star Pics can be found in specially marked bags of Ruffles 3-D, Doritos 3-D, Cheetos, 12-SACKS, 24-Count Variety Packs and Cracker Jack.
