The starting line for the Boonta Eve Classic had a diverse collection of Podracers. Four distinct vehicles led the pack -- Sebulba's massive split-X racer, Ratts Tyerell's huge monster rig, Mawhonic's lime green speedster and Aldar Beedo's speedy blue chariot. Beedo's Podracer featured an aerodynamically styled teardrop-shaped cockpit mounted to two blocky engines.
From the Expanded Universe
Beedo's ride characterized his outlook on Podracing perfectly; it wasn't all that fast or maneuverable, but it was a brute on the track. The blocky and well-armored Manta RamAir Mark IV Flat Twin Turbojets gave him the power to muscle past frailer opponents, but the rest of the craft's performance data was largely mediocre.
Behind the Scenes
Aldar Beedo's Podracer was simply identified as "Podracer A" during production.
