Vult Skerris is one of the Empire’s most gifted TIE pilots; his TIE interceptor features striking red markings that symbolize his combat prowess. He is an instructor at Skystrike Academy, demanding the best from his students -- and a strict adherence to orders. When cadets Wedge Antilles and Hobbie Klivian attempted to defect with Sabine Wren to the rebellion, Skerris personally engaged them, following in his TIE interceptor. Thanks to a last minute save by Sabine’s friends, he failed in destroying the trainees. Later, Skerris would pilot the experimental TIE defender in a battle with the Ghost and Gold Squadron in the Archeon Nebula.
A fiery mass of forming stars, the Archeon Nebula is beautiful yet extremely dangerous. Passing ships often burn up within minutes upon entering, with the heat literally peeling craft apart. The Ghost crew and Gold Squadron navigated the Archeon Nebula, while battling TIE fighters, in order to deliver Mon Mothma to a pivotal meeting.
The Y-wing is a workhorse starfighter has been in use since the Clone Wars. Used for dogfights and for bombing runs against capital ships and ground targets, Y-wings are often overshadowed by newer models such as the X-wing and the A-wing. But the Y-wing's historical importance is remarkable, and it has reliably served multiple generations of star pilots.
Growing up on his own during the age of the Empire, Ezra Bridger relied on his street smarts -- and subconscious Force abilities -- to survive. He became a con artist and small-time thief, doing what he needed to get by on his home planet Lothal. But this reality also hardened Ezra, who by the time he was 14 years old, had little trust for anyone. That would change with his introduction to the Ghost crew, a small band of rebels fighting back against the Empire. Ezra came to believe in their cause, and saw that he could help change the galaxy for the better. And with the help of Kanan Jarrus, he began to learn the ways of the Jedi.
