A brave Twi'lek girl orphaned by the Separatist invasion of Ryloth during the Clone Wars, Numa was spared from the onslaught as she was playing in the storm tunnels beneath her home village of Nabat. She was later discovered by clone troopers Waxer and Boil during their recon of the village. She proved instrumental in guiding the Republic forces through the tunnels, which led to the eventual liberation of Nabat. Numa was reunited with her uncle, Nilim Bril. Five years old at the time, Numa grew fond of her clone trooper guardians, calling them "Nerra," a Twi'lek word for brother.
