The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones Volume Two arrives on DVD on December 18 in a nine-disc boxed set (see the original announcement here.) Here's a look at what's on the sixth disc.

Adventures in the Secret Service (1:31:53) Indy's duties for French Intelligence continue, and now he is teamed up with the brothers Prince Sixtus and Prince Xavier of Bourbon-Parma. At first, Jones thinks them nothing but puffed up royalty, but they may hold the key to ending the war. In their possession is a letter from the French government, which they must get to their sister, Empress Zita. Her husband, Emperor Karl I of Austria, wishes to negotiate a peace settlement separate from Germany. If that happens, Germany would lose its major ally. So Jones must escort them into Vienna, under the careful watch of the Austrian secret police... but it turns out navigating past them might be easier then braving the treacherous waters of international diplomacy.

Jones' next assignment takes him to Petrograd, where he works out of the French embassy in the heart of tumultuous Russia. The chaos-ridden nation is tearing itself apart, and French intelligence agents are attempting to make sure the fragments fall in a manner beneficial to their interests. Jones has befriended a number of young Bolshevik students eager for revolution, and has begun to sympathize somewhat with their plight, even hearing a stirring speech by V.I. Lenin himself. But when Lenin's words fire up a premature revolution, Jones finds himself torn between loyalty to his friends and military duty.

Adventures in the Secret Service stars Sean Patrick Flanery as Indy. Guest stars include Benedict Taylor (Notes on a Scandal, The Phantom Menace) as Prince Sixtus, Matthew Wait ("Casualty") as Prince Xavier, Christopher Lee (The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Count Dooku in Episodes II and III) as Count Czernin, Patrick Ryecart ("The High Life," "Trainer") as Emperor Karl I, Jennifer Ehle (Pride and Prejudice) as Empress Zita, Jean Pierre Cassel (Murder on the Orient Express) as the French Ambassador, Julia Stemberger (Erwin and Julia) as Rosa, Gary Olsen ("2point4 Children") as Boris, Beata Pozniak ("Melrose Place," "Mad About You") as Irena, Ravil Isyanov (K-19: The Widowmaker) as Sergei, Roger Sloman ("Family Affairs") as V.I. Lenin, and Joss Ackland (The Hunt for Red October) as the Prussian.

Karl: The Last Habsburg Emperor (0:29:49) Karl, the last Emperor of Austria and King of Hungary, was labeled a traitor and failure during his lifetime. His own people exiled him. Still, there has been recognition that perhaps Karl's short reign should be remembered less for his failures than for his unsuccessful yet sincere attempts to transform his empire and bring an end to World War I. Produced and Written by Adam Sternberg.

The Russian Revolution: All Power to the Soviets! (0:33:35) In 1991, the Soviet Union, one of the most powerful nations on Earth, collapsed. Born in socialist revolution almost three-quarters of a century earlier, its birth in 1917 sent shockwaves around the world. Right from the start, the Russian Revolution promised a better world of equality, dignity, and social justice. What happened to those promises? Produced and Written by Sharon Wood.

V.I. Lenin: History Will Not Forgive Us (0:33:54) To create the utopian world he envisioned, Lenin did what he thought he had to. His violent seizure of power -- and the harsh measures he took to hold onto it -- inspired generations of revolutionaries, and dictators. Brilliant and driven, Lenin wanted to change history. He did, but not in the way he expected.Produced and Written by Sharon Wood.
