Charities: "Toys For Tots, Make-A-Wish and Foster A Dream are some of the primary charities that we contribute to," Garrison Commanding Officer Ian Hiebert (TK-1559) says. "These are all charities that benefit children; we are dedicated to those who cannot help themselves."

Interesting Facts: "We are the closest garrison to Lucasfilm headquarters geographically," Hiebert says. "The GGG has been in several fan films including The Return of Pink Five and I.M.P.S.: The Relentless. Last year the GGG Members designed and built their own full-size, fully operational, Star Wars-styled "Armored Troop Transport" for use in local parades and events. And in The Star Wars Visual Dictionary book some of the stormtrooper items pictured were made by the Garrison founding member, Mat Clayson."

Despite its small size, we manage to host bigger and better events every year."
