San Rafael's The Underground Gallery, in northern California, has invited the employees of Industrial Light & Magic and Skywalker Sound to display, from October 13 to November 5, their personal traditional and digital fine art in a show entitled "Dual Visions." Here's an opportunity for the public to see what those artists work on in the privacy of their own homes... Entrance into the show is free. Some Lucas Digital employees will do special presentations throughout the event -- entrance for these is $10 each. Here is the schedule for these talks:

October 20: Alex Laurant on the Art Department
October 27: Susan Goldsmith on computer graphics
November 3: Charlie Bailey on the Model Shop

The Underground Gallery is a community gallery located in The Downtown Art Center, at 1337 4th St. in San Rafael. The Downtown Art Center is a project of Art Works Downtown, Inc., which was founded in 1996 to establish and maintain a charitable center for the arts in downtown San Rafael. The Underground Gallery is open Wednesday through Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

An opening reception will be held on Wednesday, October 13th, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m
