More Vader in Star Wars Insider #85
November 01, 2005

[ More Vader in Star Wars Insider #85 ]It has clearly turned out to be the year of Darth Vader. The Sithly celebration is far from over, as the next issue of Star Wars Insider gives the black helmeted fallen hero some more of the spotlight shine with the cover to the magazine, and an all new short story within.

Karen Traviss tells the tale "Two-Edged Sword," an early story from the Dark Lord's armored days. Chris Trevas provides some dynamic illustrations, including a lightsaber match-up you probably didn't expect.

Also in this issue, go beyond The Star Wars Poster Book as one of its authors takes you on a gallery tour of The Empire Strikes Back posters, a follow-up to last issue's A New Hope gallery. Part three of The Art of Revenge of the Sith concludes the look at rare and seldom-seen concept imagery from Episode III. It includes artwork and anecdotes that never made it into the Art Of book, and is definitely worth a look... especially to spy an elder Antilles you won't find elsewhere!

Get a look at the costumes of a saga in a special report from the Dressing a Galaxy exhibit at the FIDM Museum in Los Angeles, featuring the astounding work of Trisha Biggar.

[ More Vader in Star Wars Insider #85 ]Get to know your galactic representatives with the Who's Who in the Delegation of 2000 article, with the conspiratorial Senators revealed on the Episode III DVD explored in detail, and many more Galactic representatives, including some never before discussed.

All the regular departments are here: Drawn by the Force goes back thousands of years into the distant Star Wars past as Dark Horse gears up its Knights of the Old Republic title; Jedi Library presents the ultimate guide to The Ultimate Visual Guide; Ask the Master hints at a Rebel briefing that might have been; Bantha Tracks shows off some of your art, while Best of Hyperspace goes behind the webstrips, complete with never-before-seen concept art from Evasive Action: Recruitment. And there's more too!
