The final list of Celebration Autograph stars is ready, and fans who are attending the huge festival this week, July 13-15, 2007 in London's ExCeL Center, can look forward to seeing more than 30 stars who span the entire six movies of the
Star Wars Saga.
Celebration Europe looks to provide the biggest selection of Star Wars stars at a single European convention to date. Not only will guests be available for autographs and greeting fans in the Celebration Europe Autograph Hall, many will also appear on stage for Q&A sessions, and some could chat with members of the Official Star Wars Fan Club during exclusive "Meet & Greet" sessions in the Fan Club Lounge.
Kenny Baker, credited as R2-D2 in all six films of the saga. A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith. Baker's performing career started at 16, and has spanned theater, film, television, ice shows, and the circus. As R2-D2, his footprints are in the cement outside the Chinese Theater in Hollywood.
Caroline Blakiston, Mon Mothma, Return of the Jedi. Blackiston's busy career began in the 1950s and has continued with dozens of television and film appearances in the U.K. and beyond.
Michael Culver: Captain Needa, The Empire Strikes Back. Culver, who portrayed the honest, but ill-fated Captain, will appear in the autograph hall at Celebration Europe.
Sandi Finlay: Sly Moore, Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. In contrast to her super cool on-screen character in the prequels, Finlay is described by fans as warm and energetic. Her transformation for the screen took more than 90 minutes.
Angus MacInnes: Meet one of the original Rebels at Celebration Europe, get his autograph, and maybe even meet him in the Fan Club Lounge.
