Visitors to
Star Wars Celebration Europe, scheduled for July 13-15 at London's ExCeL Convention Center, will find a dedicated programming track of presentations and talks designed just for collectors of
Star Wars treasures.
Gus Lopez, the mastermind behind previous collecting tracks at Celebration events in the U.S., has put together three days of programming that's not only informative for serious collectors, but also fun for anyone who loves Star Wars, and who loves how the saga has permeated the culture for the past 30 years.
Located in a room dedicated to the collecting cause, Celebration Europe collecting panels will cover a variety of subjects, including many with international themes. Selected panels will also feature non-English language speakers and subtitles.
In addition to programming, Lopez and some of the world's foremost collectors have created some very exclusive and exciting collectibles that will be given away at random times during the panels. Keep checking back to the official Celebration website for the latest news.

Dermul and Hanson will discuss how to obtain real autographs, whether in-person, through the mail, through show promoters, or through dealers. Not sure which pen to use? Should you have your item(s) personalized? They will cover those questions, plus the dos and the don'ts of writing to the stars, and the services available to fans worldwide who are unable to attend shows in person. Expect to see great examples of favorite Star Wars celebrity autographs on unusual photos and posters.

Hilarious Star Wars Items
Duncan Jenkins
Star Wars fans might own the action figures and trade the trading cards. They might wear the T-shirts and play the video games. They even frequent whatever eating establishment has the latest Star Wars "kids" meal toys. So, for many, the concept of a humorous collectible is not readily obvious. But some of the best attention-grabbing collectibles are the ones that make collectors smile, laugh, or think "I can't believe they made that!" From Jabba The Hutt on a Peach Melba Yogurt Cup to Six-foot Ewoks On Ice Skates, the Star Wars collectibles universe has had some very humorous licensed items. For a look a some of the funniest Star Wars inspired collectibles, check out Hilarious Star Wars Items with Duncan Jenkins, and don't forget to wear your Boba Fett Underoos.
