Rick McCallum, Producer of Episode III
Revenge of the Sith, will attend
Star Wars Celebration III this April in Indianapolis. McCallum will appear on stage for interviews and question and answer sessions with the audience, and also plans to share a special surprise, just for the fans at
Celebration.
McCallum thrilled thousands of fans at Celebration II in 2002 by showing a sneak peek of footage from Attack of the Clones in special digital screenings in the 500 Ballroom. The producer, who has worked closely with George Lucas since 1990, will return with more straight talk from inside the production process, will share his warm, infectious enthusiasm for the films, and also plans more fun with another spectacular surprise.
In addition to his work on Revenge of the Sith McCallum produced The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones, as well as the Special Editions. His non-Star Wars work with Lucas includes the feature film Radioland Murders and, for television, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles. McCallum's Young Indy work was both extensive and remarkable, with the series filmed over a period of four years in 30 countries. It received 32 Emmy nominations and won 12 Emmy Awards. It also won the 1993 Banff Award for Best Continuing Series and received a 1993 Golden Globe nomination for Best Dramatic Series.
Come prepared with questions! McCallum, always a favorite with fans, is known for giving straight, and always entertaining, answers.
