Yep, good old Artoo and Threepio put on their salesman caps for an expansive Mitsubishi ad campaign in the 1990s to sell coups, minis, and sedans. And for Threepio, at least, selling cars should come as easy as a second language -- Lucas did, after all, originally intend for the protocol droid to speak with an oily, car-salesman type of dialect before actor Anthony Daniels convinced him otherwise.
