Being a collector of Star Wars music, it wasn't long before I came across Japanese manufactured records and tapes. This record, produced in 1980 by Polydor Records, is not actually a pure Empire Strikes Back soundtrack album, but a "Screen Theme" compilation. It's my favorite because of the artwork -- the vertical banner with pricing and album information written in Japanese actually slides off so you can see the entire cover. -- Tony Damata
