[ Biography ]

British film star Denis Lawson, who played X-wing pilot Wedge Antilles in the original Star Wars trilogy, has kept himself busy since his last stint as a Rebel. He can often be found performing in London's West End, where he directed nephew Ewan McGregor in the 1999 play Little Malcolm and His Struggle Against the Eunuchs. Lawson also served as narrator for the audio book of Timothy Zahn's best-selling Star Wars novel Heir to the Empire (1991) and appeared in the popular Horatio Hornblower series, which was shown in the U.S. on the Arts & Entertainment cable channel. His latest project is the BBC Scotland miniseries The Fabulous Bagel Boys, in which he stars as a Jewish detective.
