Seiden supervised the Tatooine Dunes and Mos Eisley sequences and many of the recomposites in the Star Wars Special Edition. His other ILM credits include Dragonheart, Star Trek: Generations, The Flintstones, Jurassic Park, and Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

Having worked at ILM for seven years, Seiden has served as computer graphics supervisor, visual effects supervisor and technical director on many films and commercials. He has worked on several films which have earned Academy Awards for best achievement in visual effects, and which have redefined the way visual effects are created.

Alex Seiden was born in Chicago, Illinois and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Visual Studies with special interest in computer graphics and animation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
